FAQ

Who runs the Good Shepherd Collective?

We are a loose collection of activists that work in consensus. We’re located both in Palestine and abroad.

Why was the Good Shepherd Collective founded?

The Good Shepherd Collective was founded as a response to the inherent limitations of national and international NGOs. Community organizers wanted to create a structure that challenged the neoliberal thought and that centers advocacy on decolonization and anti zionist organizing.

How is the Good Shepherd Collective funded?

We are funded almost exclusively by individual donors. Accepting large donations from neoliberal institutions often compromises the mission of grassroots movements, aligning them with corporate agendas and the interests of the political parties which aim to maintain systems of exploitation. Relying on individual donations fosters genuine community engagement, preserves autonomy, and ensures that advocacy efforts remain aligned with principles of decolonization, anti zionism, and liberation.

Who runs the social media accounts?

We all do, collectively.

How can you be involved with the Good Shepherd Collective?

Send us an email and let us know if you’re interested in coming to Palestine and doing work or coordinating from abroad. We’re happy to do webinars and podcasts, or teach-ins with small groups. Email us at info@goodshepherdcollective.org.
