This data set represents the small subsection of Israeli settler-colonial violence that is documented and reported. These figures only include information from the West Bank and East Jerusalem and do not account for the colonial violence enacted upon Palestinians who live within the territories occupied since 1948.
Israel has intensified its military operations in the occupied West Bank since January 19, concentrating on the Jenin refugee camp. The assault, which has involved airstrikes and ground operations, has reduced much of Jenin refugee camp to ruins and forced thousands to flee while blocking humanitarian aid. At least 26 Palestinians have been killed and many more injured.
On February 2nd, Israeli military forces detonated explosives in residential areas, destroying 20 buildings in the eastern part of the camp on Sunday.
The offensive follows months of escalating military activity in the West Bank. In Tulkarm, intensified attacks over the past eight days have displaced families, restricted access to food, medicine, and other essential services, and damaged key medical facilities.
The assault has destroyed some 120 buildings and displaced 15,000 people so far.
Israeli forces have also expanded their operations into the northeastern West Bank, targeting the Fara'a refugee camp and the town of Tammun. These raids have led to mass evacuations, road blockades, and further economic and agricultural disruption.
In response, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called for an emergency UN Security Council session, condemning the actions as a deliberate attempt to erase the Palestinian presence. This move is performative: The Palestinian Authority has been openly collaborating with the killing and imprisonment of the factions on behalf of the broader zionist movement — particularly in Jenin.
