West Bankers face the largest displacement since 1967

This year, Israeli forces have conducted operations across refugee camps that have created the largest refugee crisis in the West Bank since 1967. Recent UNOSAT satellite imagery analysis revealed that Israel destroyed, severely damaged, or moderately damaged 676 structures (52% of all structures) in Jenin Camp, 382 structures (48%) in Nur Shams, and 402 structures (36%) in Tulkarm.

This systematic destruction of Gaza's built environment, which has affected four out of every five structures across the entire Strip, represents the deliberate rendering of Palestinian territory uninhabitable, transforming an entire society's homeland into an endless landscape of rubble while forcing survivors into perpetual internal exile.

With 84 schools facing demolition orders and 73 communities lacking water networks, Israel's systematic erasure of Palestinian life continues to clear ground for exclusive Jewish settlement expansion.

Regional Imperialist Violence

This violence flows necessarily from the transformation of monopoly capitalism into its imperialist stage: as capital concentrates in ever larger private conglomerates, the export of surplus value demands new markets, raw materials and zones of cheap labour. In practice, this drive for accumulation subordinates entire territories to the logic of capital, converting land and people into resources to be extracted by force. The resulting military interventions, enforced border regimes, and settler-colonial occupations are therefore not aberrations but the logical consequence of capitalist accumulation crossing its own spatial limits.
