Hafez Huraini has been held in Israeli colonial military prison since September 12, 2022, when he was attacked by a group of armed Israeli settlers while tending to his land. During the attack, Hafez sustained multiple fractures in his hand and arm. Despite video evidence that he was outnumbered and targeted by the settlers, Hafez was the only person arrested following the attack and taken to military prison despite his injuries. Since September 12, Hafez has endured three military tribunals, with each resulting in the extension of his detention. His case has garnered international attention. With the international community calling for Hafez to be immediately released, the military courts have decided to release him on a bail of 10,000 NIS.
